About 80 out of 100 people believe that games fail because of poor marketing. Hundreds of games make their way to play store everyday and majority of them vanishes in thin air. Even if they are downloaded (for free), they fail to make any decent profit through their IAP(in-app purchase). Why it happens?  Maybe, the gamer is bored after playing it for a while, or, because of some  dreadful bugs . Many game developing organizations have great designers, creative artists, and excellent programmers, but they don’t hire enough game testers. And testers are given least importance and are consider as lucky/lazy. Is game testing an easy job? No. Because testing games is a complicated process where they had to put all their effort to find those nasty bugs. You or your company has launched a video game. Your game features a celebrity and you have spent heavy on creating that game. The marketing was so outstanding that even David Ogilvy is feeling insecure. Still the game is not making any noise on the play store. There are only bad reviews about your game. Why? There is only reason: Your game is terrible.  Why is the game terrible? Because: Your captain is not a sailor: The guy heading all your departments comes from a non-gaming field. It is okay to have someone from non-gaming field on the board; you can get a different view. Make him sit besides the folks who love playing games.
